From Los Angeles or Riverside Area
- Take 5 Frwy South to Camino Capistrano Exit
- Exit, then turn Left on Camino Capistrano
- Take Camino Capistrano toward beach (South) about 1.5. This road turns into Doheny Park Road
- El Patio Cafe is on the left side just past Ave Victoria
From San Diego
- Take 5 Frwy North to Camino Las Ramblas/Beach Cities Highway 1 exit
- Exit will split, stay to the Left for Beach Cities Highway 1
- Go under, through the tunnel
- Exit at Doheny Park Road, stay to the Right
- Turn Right at Doheny Park Road
- El Patio Cafe is on the Right, about 1 block
